Hello Chroniclers!
It’s been a bit since our last post and, like you, we’re excited to get up and running again and to see and hear all the wonderful stories, old and new, shared by our members and our Club. We make our return from hiatus with both delight and sadness.
Earlier this year our wonderful editor Tom Dupree suddenly passed away. Filling the hole he left has been arduous. Tom made The Brief Chronicles what it is. He truly enjoyed getting to know our many regular writers and was thrilled each time new people submitted. Tom was full of life, and the absence of his laugh is felt each time we meet. We also know how much he’d want us to keep going and keep growing! That is what we'll do.
I am happy to announce our new Editor, Shana Farr. Shana is a longtime member of The Players and like me has spent time on almost every committee. An award-winning performer, concert/cabaret artist, writer, producer, talk show host, jewelry designer, web designer, and more, she is the perfect person to help ensure we move forward and thrive. Thank you, Shana, for joining us and keeping The Chronicles and a bit of Tom’s spirit alive.
Nichole is a Meditation Coach, Performance Coach, Theatre Director and the creator of a number of other fun artsy, earthy crunchy stuff. A self proclaimed man-lovin’ feminist, dog mamma, fabulous wife (you’re welcome Scott), and all-around crazy person, Nichole finds her calm in nature and her backyard. Oh, she’s also The Brief Chronicles Publisher and Players Communications & Theatre Committees’ creator and Chair. Welcome & Namasté!
