By GRACE ANN BARESICH
In this time of distance writers write
But know not when it will be read
Lovers quarrel day and night
No one knows what’s ahead
Media, news and data and charts
Watching and waiting for life to return
Missing loved ones, many broken hearts
Mandates are made and we must be firm
A pause this is for all to grow
This too shall pass or so we’re told
Let’s hope we walk away and know
That life is more precious than gold
Smile, love, throw kisses from afar.
Take time, look up, and make a wish upon a star…
